700 BLISS
700 Bliss is the forward—thinking duo of DJ Haram and Moor Mother. On their first full length release for Hyperdub, ‘Nothing to Declare’, the duo create an album of noise rap, one that ties together the raw edges of club music and hip hop with punk energy, jazz, house—party catharsis, loud percussion—heavy analogue sound design, and cheeky skits.

KODE9 [VISUALS FROM ORPHAN DRIFT: LIGHTFARM]
Steve Goodman, or Kode9, is perhaps best known as the boss of Hyperdub. After being part of South London’s vital dubstep scene in the naughts, he released two collaborative LPs with late MC The Spaceape, and more recently his solo LP, ‘Escapology’ — Kode9’s first album since 2015’s ‘Nothing’. With a PhD in philosophy from the University of Warwick, Goodman has always been attuned to the extra-musical implications of sound, authoring the influential Sonic Warfare: Sound, Affect, and the Ecology of Fear.
Maggie Roberts (0rphan Drift) with Jason Stapleton, LIDAR artist (Lightfarm). 0rphan Drift is a collaborative media artist that emerged in London, 1994. It’s known for immersive works which treat information as matter and the image as a unit of contagion — attempting to reproduce the intense intimate ways that sound affects the body. 0D has exhibited and performed for over two decades in galleries, museums and night clubs internationally.

RACHIKA NAYAR

RACHIKA NAYAR
Rachika Nayar is a Brooklyn-based composer and producer, who crafts her music from processed guitar along with other synthesized and multi-instrumental sounds. In that fluid but always deeply felt form, her music eschews single genres and identities, as it wades through influences spanning both experimental (ambient-electronic, neoclassical) and popular vernaculars (Midwest emo, trance, and beyond).

SANGRE NUEVA [DJ PYTHON, KELMAN DURAN & DJ FLORENTINO]

SANGRE NUEVA [DJ PYTHON, KELMAN DURAN & DJ FLORENTINO]
Sangre Nueva is the collaborative project of DJ Florentino, Kelman Duran and DJ Python, three producers hailing from Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador/Argentina (via New York), who aim to develop the bloodline of reggaeton. One result so far is the EP, ‘Goteo’, that funnels hybrids of reggaeton into deep house and elements of rhythm and grime, bringing together the hazy beats by the Dominican, the romantic side of the Colombian and the deep filter of the Ecuadorian/Argentinian.

SKEE MASK [VISUALS FROM WEIRDCORE]

SKEE MASK [VISUALS FROM WEIRDCORE]
Skee Mask is a versatile producer from Munich. Influenced by a lot of different types of music over the years, his productions are very diverse. His clean and surgical yet immersive and deep production and his eclectic, genre-crossing DJ sets have positioned him as one of the most intriguing and sought-after artists in the electronic music scene.
The work of London based audiovisual artist Weirdcore is the result of years of experimental design and animation work that pushes the boundaries of consciousness and visual interpretation. With a unique blend of formats, colors, designs and mediums, the audiovisual artist has collaborated with some of the most exciting modern artists and directors.

SPACE AFRIKA

SPACE AFRIKA
Manchester UK’s Space Afrika make music of what they term “overlapping moments” – oblique mosaics of dialogue, rhythm, texture, and shadow, half-heard through a bus window on a rainy night. Their latest and critically-acclaimed work ‘Honest Labour’ expanded the project’s palette with classical strings, shimmering guitar, and visionary vocal cameos, leaning further into their enigmatic fusion of ambient unrest and cosmic downtempo.
