LA LUCE AL BUIO CREATED WITH GALAXY S22
MILANO / EUROPA

La Luce Al Buio, one of the dearest concepts to C2C Festival, returned to life thanks to an immersive event conceived by C2C Festival and Samsung: a site specific installation created by visual artist Weirdcore with the South Korean singer Lim Kim and musician and composer Lorenzo Senni.
The event took place at Spazio Maiocchi, a cross-disciplinar space in the heart of Milan where art, design and fashion come together with the purpose of creating new cultural experiences.
“Showing light in the dark from different perspectives, Weirdcore’s installation let the audience experience it from the naked eye whilst also seeing it via the cameras’ low light capabilities.
The different shutter speeds of each camera produced various fragmented representations of the same laser beams, making the view fast and dynamic — otherwise slow, soft and shimmering from an unassisted sight.
The lasers interacted with the music by Lorenzo Senni and Lim Kim, consisting of abstract synth arpeggios from the Italian composer and Korean vocals from the Seoul-based singer”. (Weirdcore)

LORENZO SENNI
Spazio Maiocchi
Constant researcher of mechanisms and elements that compose dance music, Lorenzo Senni explores the building up idea of euphoric dance music as a starting point to create more introspective tracks which implicitly keep the same pathos.
In 2016 he entered the prestigious british label Warp where he debutted with “Persona”, a work in which he ironically resumed the nineties IDM. Following his “pointillistic” path, in 2020 he published “Scacco Matto”.
