C2C TALKS IS THE FREE DISCOURSE PROGRAMME OF C2C FESTIVAL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RESIDENT ADVISOR

Taking place on Saturday 4th November from 12PM at Teatro Regio, RA X C2C TALKS will reflect on music and culture featuring a daylong programme of workshops and public conversations with artists, journalists, writers and curators.

RA JOURNALISM WORKSHOP WITH WHITNEY WEI [RESIDENT ADVISOR EDITOR—IN—CHIEF]
The purpose of journalism in a music scene is to spotlight the vibrant narratives, characters, and phenomena that bring this community to life. These days, it’s relatively easy to get involved: the skills can be self-taught, editors and artists easily reached. But being a journalist requires expertise in at least two subjects: music and the craft of writing, along with a strong tenacity to follow a story. In this workshop, RA’s editor—in—chief Whitney Wei will instruct you on how to land a pitch, what it takes to write a compelling feature, and answer your questions on music journalism as a viable career path.

RBL is an online community radio. Founded as an independent radio project, over the years it has evolved to become an international network operating from four different cities: Turin, Berlin, Barcelona, and Istanbul. RBL will curate 4 soundscapes in the foyer at Teatro Regio, designed for decompression, listening, and networking.⁣

Playing Favourites is a flagship RA feature format in which we invite artists to speak about some of their favourite records in their collections. For this special live edition hosted at C2C Festival, we’ve invited Sangre Nueva, aka DJ Python, Kelman Duran & Florentino, to unpack their record collection.

RA EXCHANGE LIVE: CRYSTALLMESS [HOSTED BY WHITNEY WEI]
RA Exchange Live is a moment of conversation with leading artists, labels, and promoters in the electronic music scene. In this talk, RA Editor—in—Chief Whitney Wei will hold a conversation with French producer and artist Crystalmess. Crystallmess’ music immediately stands out for its abrasive dancefloor feel.  Her devotion to club music and multifaceted nature make her an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Regularly programmed in the best clubs and festivals in the world, she will play at C2C Festival on Saturday 4th November as part of PAN 15.

STEGI.RADIO / ONASSIS CULTURE  X  C2C FESTIVAL: THE ARCHIPELAGO WITH CARLO ANTONELLI [HOSTED BY YANNIS—ORESTIS PAPADIMITRIOU]
In the 21st century, culture is constantly evolving, from the rise of streaming services to the dark side of the web. Carlo Antonelli, an accomplished figure will explore these changes in a talk with Yannis—Orestis Papadimitriou of Stegi Radio. As part of C2C’s collaboration with Stegi Radio, the online radio station of Onassis Culture based in Athens, they will discuss the impacts of century-defining events on contemporary culture and our relationship with it.
