VIVA Festival! 2018

The first details of the biggest event in the musical calendar in the south Italy's summer.

This coming Summer, while the national football team will not take part in the football world cup, VIVA! Festival will be back from 4th to 8th July with its second edition named ITALIA’18:  5 magic nights in Valle D’Itria for an international audience with a line-up of artists from all around the world (the first names will be announced in a few weeks).

In this second year of life, the festival will take place in July, spreading across extraordinary locations in the valley, to better represent its different souls.

Beyond the two nights in the evocative Arena Valle D’Itria located between Locorotondo and Martina Franca, VIVA! will take place in the main villages in the valley: the festival kicks off on  Wednesday 4th July with a free live show among Alberobello’s Trulli (global heritage for UNESCO since 20 yeas ago) and will continue on Thursday 5th with a special live inside one of Ostuni’s traditional masserias and Friday 6th in the downtown Martina Franca.

After the evenings of Friday 6th and Saturday 7th  in the Arena, VIVA! 2018 will end at  sunrise on Sunday with a special event in a space that represents at its best the origins of the valley and this extraordinary area of south Italy: the archeological site of Egnazia, old city next to current Fassano, established in the XV century a.c.. Mentioned by Plinio, Strabo and Oratio Egnazia is one of the most interesting archeological sites in the region. The site will be allowed  VIVA to build an exclusive and magic atmosphere.

VIVA was born in 2017 from the synergy between the local society Tourné and Club To Club, thanks to Audi‘s support – the automotive brand forefront both in the technologic research and in new stylish languages – again official partner of VIVA!, together with Puglia Promozione, Regione Puglia, Puglia Sounds and other partners has contributed in a determinant way to a fantastic first edition: 40.000 overall attendees from all Europe and over 30 artists hailing from 8 different countries (USA, Norway, Spain, Germany, French, UK, Italy, Chile).
