Masseria Luco

Masseria Luco is a charming oasis located in Martina Franca, nearby Locorotondo. Built between the 18th and 19th century, it is a typical “court” manor, composed by two separated architectural bodies: the impressive farmhouse, once  inhabitated by the farmers, and the ancient “vaccheria” (stable), a group of twelve horseshoe disposed trulli (conic structures typical of the region). The consacrated chapel, of notable historic interest, is rich of frescoes attributed to Carella’s school and Carella himself.

Surrounded by hectares of woods and untouched Apulian nature, Masseria Luco rises on the top of a little hill that offers a view on the picturesque landscape of Valle d’Itria.
