The line-up of the 16th edition of Club To Club explores all of the last music trends, going beyond geographical and musical boundaries. Fifty artists, from more than 15 countries, will meet in Turin, from 2nd to 6th November, to create a unique experience composed by 20 Italian exclusives and 12 debuts.
Among the Italian exclusives, there is Nick Murphy‘s performances. The Australian singer and producer announced his decision to abandon his moniker Chet Faker at the and of the summer, as turn-point in his artistic career. Murphy will debut in his new identity with a special djset on Friday 4th November. The same day, Autechre, true pillars of the history of Warp, will expand minds with the abstract and fascinating complexity of their musical paths.
DJ Shadow will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his masterpiece Entroducing….., Saturday 5th November on Lingotto’s main stage. Following the hip-hop wave of DJ Shadow, Clams Casino,who’s now releasing his debut album ’32 Levels’, will also play on the main stage on Saturday.
Junun, a project by Radiohead’s composer and multi-instrumentalist Jonny Greenwood with the Israeli singer Shye Ben Tzur and the Indian ensemble Rajasthan Express, will debut on Lingotto’s main stage on Saturday 5th November.
Gaika, among the most exciting new British talents to combine grime, dancehall and gothic aesthetics, the Berlin duo Amnesia Scanner, who has recently signed by the Young Turks label, and Fatima Yamaha, the cult project of Amsterdam producer Bas Bron, will all debut on RBMA stage on Friday 4th November.
On Saturday 5th November, the RBMA stage will be on fire with the performance, in Italian exclusive, of Daphni, the side project of Dan Snaith aka Caribou.
After the success of his set at #C2CMLN, Arca will perform with the visionary video-artist Jesse Kanda on Thursday 3rd November. Even if they are both young, they collaborated some of the most important important artists, such as FKA Twigs, Bjork and Kanye West. Italian debut also for the no-wave icon Arto Lindsay and the drummer Paal Nilssen-Love, who will exhibit in a new show the same night at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi.
Club To Club will be inaugurated by a Gran Opening, co-presented with Unsound. On 2nd November, the Non-Records founder Chino Amobi and the LGBTQ activist Elysia Crampton will debut in Italy.
