C2C is an avant—pop global festival happening in Torino, once a year, for nineteen years now. An intercultural exploration of the meaning of light and darkness: welcome to “Season 2”.
C2C Festival 2019 hosted its performances in six extraordinary locations: from the renewed OGR—Officine Grandi Riparazioni to the majestic Palace of Venaria, through the post—industrial Lingotto pavilions, Porta Palazzo multicultural neighborhood and the Symposium, the Festival headquarters.
The 19th edition of C2C has consolidated its international positioning in the network of big contemporary music events, breaking borders between musical genres once and for all.
C2C Festival 2019 hosted more than 50 shows, 16 exclusives and 11 Italian premieres, almost 100 artists from the five continents. It took place in the name of interculturality.
The festival sold around 20,000 tickets and registered around 10,000 admissions to free or invitation—only events.
The distribution of national and international audiences is 85% and 15% respectively.
The 19th edition of C2C was a celebration of future music and it revolutionized the experience of its community within the festival, especially in the post—industrial pavilions of Lingotto, thanks to the production by Vittorio Della Casa of Delamaison Production, already working with world—class artists such as Daft Punk.
